I noticed that in the arm build menus, the Ambusher and Guardian have been switched. While, I think you guys probably did it because the values were unbalanced, I have to disagree with the way this was done.
The reason why the ambusher was originally in the advanced build menu, is that it could withstand a nuclear attack while sunk into the ground, unlike a Guardian. I think I have a solution to this. The Guardian has a range of 1250 and does 360 damage, while the Ambusher costs less, has less hull, only has a range of 912 and does 310 damage. However, the Ambusher├óÔé¼Ôäós plasma shots have an area of effect of 100, while the Guardian├óÔé¼Ôäós shots only have 64. I suggest switching their stats.
Think about it. The Guardian would be back in Tech 1 where it belongs, be cheaper to build (as it should have been in the first place), and would be better for defending against groups of cheaper units at the beginning of the game, since it has a wider area of effect. The Ambusher would be more of an AT weapon, since its shots would be more powerful and have less of an area of effect, making it better against single heavily armored units like Goliaths. It would also be back in tech level 2 where it belongs, since it├óÔé¼Ôäós intended as a way to survive nuclear attacks, which is also tech level 2. It makes all the sense in the world to me.

In XTA, a pop-up cannon has 1300 range and a Guardian 1950.Chocapic wrote:...ur prolly talking about xta, but in aa its the other way around.

Interesting to nottice is:
Guardian has an AOE of 64, 1950 range, 450 damage vs the core
Punisher has an AOE of 85, 1900 range and 400 damage.
punisher is also sligthly cheaper and stronger.
both have accuracy 600, but strangelly, only punisher has "tolerance" tag (of 500).
// accuracy = Amount of accuracy in 64K deg that weapon is good for, 0=100%
// tolerance = Amount of accuracy weapon will use when aiming, most are default 0
