I dont think they're bad... they're just not the same cheesy sci-fi "Alice In Wunderland" style as the Spire Rook...

Well, they do give the 'blob' feeling.
This is obious, and should be considered when giving a comment on them.

We're guilty of mixing and matching things all over the place for this mod. Remember, this is kind've a warmup project, so I'm learning how to get the most out've Spring as I go here.

One of the next units up is going to look kind've like an Incan temple, and then we have the Lord, which is... special. I'm still working on his basic design, trying to come up with something that won't give my animator fits but will still get things across.

One thing we've already discovered is that S3O and a few basic tricks can give us customized weapon effects very easily. If only certain things were fixed, like the FALL event, we'd be able to do things like have "sparks" fly off of units when they took damage, and other fake-particle effects.

the cone reminds me of those flying pyramid things from the anamatrix, hovering over the battlefield ignoring the fight below

I'll be getting a "group shot" together, so that people can get a sense of scale... as soon as I've heard back from one of the other core team-members about some refinements on a couple of the animations. The Spire Rook is fairly... large...

The current archer missile is 'stock.' a new missile would definitely be cool (Argh check your PMs)

Fiz, are they S3Os? I'm interested in new missiles, but I really prefer very strongly that they're all S3O.

The basic Sheep. A Das Bruce design, with a little help from me. To the charge of posing an unfinished unit for the purpose of making cute screenshot, I plea "guilty", but it's really boring in its default pose ;)
