Division of download page?

Could the download page be split into two sections (on the same page), one labelled "Development Releases" and the other "Stable Releases"? It would prevent the layman from downloading 0.7 and thinking that it's the best Spring has ever been, maybe writing it off. This kind of thing is pretty much standard for all open-source projects.

ahem, as far as I know, you need 0.7 to play on the lobby, so any lay player would need to get that version or not be able to get a game online.

I think there will be a QA/beta team to really try out the new proposed releases. Atleast there's been talk on the issue. People interesting in such activity will be informed of it. Atleast how I see it, it's fun to get to experiment with a new version - possibly before everyone else. ;)

Meanwhile, please bear with us. It's unfortunate that the developers are away just on the edge of a new release but the amount of new bugs is quite surprising since this version has some testing before the release afterall.

One should also keep in mind, the current versions are all beta. ;) (But yes, more stable versions shouldn't be replace with new ones until they're atleast close to equal stability)
