I'm just wondering, what a nice game engine did you make...
Anyway, I have some questions, but I write it as a concept...
Please, write back, what idea is possible, or not possible
New UI with a lot of new commands*
New MENU system
Configurable Controls
Redesigned FPS Mode
2 types of Unit, building Models --> Redesigned(high poly) and Original (low poly)
Weather effects, day and night
Redesigned weapon effects
Each Unit has its own HUD --> HUD Style would be a bit the same style as the Battlefield*
More specialtys of units, and more differences between the two sides
New Commands:
At least 3-4 Type of Formations
Pursue Length, style
Unit Behaviour
Two style of patrol
Any other special commands, orders
At the * marked places, I can help with the making/design
I can use Photoshop CS Very well, so I can make a lot of new things to the spring (for example: new order icons, UI, etc.)
If any of these ideas are not possible, write it
I will write a more compley concept, but I have to go for now...

Anywyas, i'm not 100% on any of these, but as far as i know this should be reasonably correct, though i may be wrong on a few accounts.

There has been some discusion on this, but right now it doesnt seem the spring team has prority for any formations beyond the current one (alt+issue move order or right drag to issue move order)At least 3-4 Type of Formations

Pursue distance would be hold position maneouvre and roam settings
The other iffy one that sounded similair would be hold fire return fire fire at will
As for two tier unit models for lwo and high polys, you'r more likely to get a dynamic algorithm that took a high poly unit and made it less detailed as you got further away
