Hehe, it's acctually my kitten and I love her so you can suck eggs :P

Her name is teddy. She can do backflips, and be the cutest thing ever, and she does it very easily.

I have a turtle and it kills things. Say for example there is a BIG roach in the bathroom and my gf is not going to kill it. She just has to pick up the turtle and BAM the turtle tears the roach apart peice by peice..

So I say stop teaching it acrobatics and teach to take lives for it's master :)!

Dude, you don't have to teach cats that... Insect or rodent alike, cats deal with things.

Unfortunately yes, my cat brings frogs into the house, then eats them and leaves the internal organs for me to clean up.

I had a dream that among many other disturbing things, (I was brad pit, and I was in what appears to be Kill Bill Volume 3, which totolly doesn't work on so many levels, and I think I was in a "Brave New World" esque future for some reason)... in any case their was a rat eating chinchilla... yeah that was discusting... I'm glad my cat is an indoor cat.

Seeing as im scared the hell of cats (apart from several of my mates cats, that I have a love/hate sort of thing with) I now cant come on teh site without breaking out in a cold swet, and getting the hebee gebees. Especialy as it looks just like my mates most sadstic cat (The sort of cat that acts nice then goes for your throte...)

On teh other hand, if he changes it i know it will only be to somthing worse... like hamsters or ginepigs.

Cats are the best. My kitten, ~9 months old, was orphaned pretty young, so she doesn't know how to hunt. She still has the instinct in her though, so when she catches mice she ends up usually torturing them to death instead of eating them.

if you stop feeding your cat for a week it will get the hunting and killing instinct pretty quick.

survival of the fittest :) and a cats a predator after all.

surprisingly, cars seem to hunt cats in my area :) ive lost 3 cats in the last year, all to cars :( DONT CROSS THE ROAD GOD DAMN IT.

To my knowledge I've never lost a cat to a car... The trick is to get a cat that's smart enough to realize that cars are scary and lethal, then whenever you get a new kitten the old cat will train them about survival outside.

However, ceritan road conditions are just really dangerous. Cats often die if there's alot of roadside parking because they aren't smart enough to look both ways when they come out from between some cars. Also narrow roads and fast traffic increases the chance of squished cats, and of course traffic density, if cats only see cars once in a while they are more likely to be wary of them and less therefor less likely to get hit.

Out where I live, about 60% of our cats wander off towards the road and eventually get into with a moving (probably speeding) car, about 30% stray the other direction and just disappear=coyote/hawk food, and 10% live a long time, slowly increasing their territory, until they find out one of our neighbors let them stay in the house. Once that 10% finds that out, they come back less and less. Yah, we actually found one of our disappeared cats sprawled in front of a fireplace at a neighbor's house once :| .

Weird place you live... my mate has 4 cats and has had loads of others, and they all died of old age.

And no there not left indoors... infact they pretty much own all teh other cats on teh street. (Kinda funny, the oldest ones grown so lazy, he just sits there, gets attacked, and then rolls on his enamys till one of the younger ones come and sort it out... Sometimes... I wish i was a cat.)

Maybe were you live people drive there cars to fast?? Or maybe you just unlucky and get daft cats??

A bit of both. Speed limit is 55 mph (~88,5 kmph), which means 90% of the cars go about 65 mph (~104,6 kmph). Considering how much more than they think this road is actually patrolled (they think its some ignored backroad, when in fact its been a major throughfare for as long as they have known it existed, though not before), I get to laugh at them quiet a bit when they get pulled over.
