Backstory:
The citadells, internally codenamed Spearspires, are the first arrow of the Centrails empire. This titanic structures, able to uphold integrity in the even most dire circumstances, contain the darkmatter reactors, augmentation chambers, nano-technology and administration, necessary to create a centrail Outpost. The buildings supply a basic waving income. Traditionally the colony administration (YOU) resides in the citadell.

Citadells enter in a PortalStorm and explode into a portal Storm.
Function:
Errects buildings - but relies for construction upon the constructions units provided by the condepot.
Provides a sinus waving basic income.
Weapons:
Citadell Drones will fly after any Unit nearby and destroy it
Crime Contaiment Capsules (CCC) at the base of the citadell - armed with plasma-rays provide additional defenses.
Special Abilitys:
Can raise a shield that deflects enemy units and forrestfires. Every bump against the shield costs energy.

    Backstory:
    All throughout the Centrails Confederacy, especially in the borderworlds - the lower class of non and half-citizens assemble in decaying old structures. These creatures serve no real purpose, adding nothing to the empire, but there existence can be used by a cunning administration to gamble the empires bureaucratic redistribution mechanism of resources.
    So they dwell here, the criminals, the unwanted of all dimensions and species. And produce a steady flow of security budget into the administration account. If fired upon, the inhabitants will try to flee the building, producing corpses.
    In addition this building is prone to become a rebel outpost.

    Backstory:
    A heavy Duty, Industrial Scale Ore/Rare Material Excavator and Refinery, traveling towards the nearest Resource Location. It will stop for nothing, knocking over trees. Once in Place, it will start to dig deep down into the soil, creating a huge mining crater- until the machinery hits the waterlevel and sinks into a early grave. Refined Material is catapulted via the on-board Railgun into Orbiting Portals.
    Function:
    Supplys your base with Material Income.
    Special Abilitys:
    Start digging down once stopped and the Special Ability activated. Will stop excavating once the same procedure is resumed.

    Backstory:
    These Transportsystems are usually prepared well ahead of Deployment by nanotic machinery hidden deep into the ground. This allows for the trains to deploy on "new" terrain at break-neck speed- as long as its straight ahead. Elevations are scaled easily, but turns are excruciatingly slow. Once the construction site is reached, the unit - consuming ressources and its own hp, starts errecting the buildings of the units it guards.

    The wealthy Full Citizens of the empire may lack for nothing in the decadent core Worlds, but for protection. Man is man a wulf, and on those easily bored City-planets of a thousand wonders, a pretty common entertainment is to rob and rape the neighbors beyond the next portal.
    Thus, the full citizens, in exchange for a hefty material "protection fee" will search the protection of the borderworlds troops of the universal union. They are tremendously bored and easy to anger. One enemy shot - and the money will stop flowing.
    Function:
    Provide Material Income independent from resource spots.
    Special Abilitys:
    Building can retract in a Map-Wide alarm into the ground for additional protection.
    Building can upgrade near a Shopping Mall-Skyscraper.

    Backstory:
    Originally the Waterextractor came to be, to drain Ocean-worlds so far, that habitable landmasses would begin to show. After aeons of conflict with the Journeyman, this use has almost vanished and by now the water is pumped offworld, to deprive the exobiotics of a valuable ressource - from which they could grow theire army. In addition lowered waterlevels allow for continued mining for ressources. The water is pumped off to supply the coreworlds - or power giant space-railguns which fire frozzen-metallic-hydrogen shells towards suns that have been conquered by the journeyman.
    Function:
    Lowering the water level, using some Energy.
    Special Abilitys:
    Deactivate and Reactivate the Drainage.

Anti-Matter Projector

Backstory:
Take a particle accelerator around a small forgotten moon, and create a stream of anti-matter- then add a portal to it. And this portal is mounted on a shielded vehicle, that spews slow but inevitable, darkmatter coated death on its way over the battlefield. Tricky to micro-manage, as these slow projectiles are invisible to the bare eye.

Antimatter-projectors. Very Slow projectiles, dissolving everything that they touch.

Backstory:
Very early in its history, the CentrA.I.l Empire did tunnel into a very dangerous manifold dimension, where a species of sentient grubs dwelled, that where able to shape their home environment by thought and logic alone.

And something incredibble happened, for the first time the empire lost.

Three times they attacked, three times they were repelled by those otherworldly creatures.
In the end, the CentrA.I.l conqured the Manifolddimension with a cronjewel of treachery.
One of theire support castes, a advisor believing in a longterm victory of the most ressourcefull, contacted the enemy and arranged for a handover of internal information in exchange for a "ruling" position for his species within the union.
The information was used, and his species exterminated. The only survivor was the traitor, who cloned ad infinitum was used as adiminstrative agent and speakers of the centrail.

Backstory:
Interdimensional Colonial Standarequipment, the gama gardener sterilizes nearby exobiotic lifeforms in a large radius with heavy radiation. This damages all units, sieverts know neither friend nor foe. Turns out conventional wisdom is wrong- you can make a scenen without the green.

Activate the Radiation, turn your environment into a microwave poptart.

Backstory:
Equipped with a miniature local transport singularity and a darkmatter generator, this unit is able to teleport infantry soldiers into action. To do this is for free- just kidding- each trooper costs material and security.

Backstory:
One of the more sinister units of the CentrA.I.l Confederacy, this is basically a portal on a plane. Flying towards smaller enemy units, who upon beeing swallowed, enter a world of pain, carefully dismemberment and recycling.
