Easter Egg in AA 1.44!

Post by nefty »

I don't know if anyone has figured this out, but there are units from Caydr's other mod, GEM, hidden in AA 1.44.
Just type .cheat and .give valkrie. You will see a medium fighter. They are fully functional and shoot awesome lasers... so here are some screenshots.

Up close, compared to a Peewee for size

To prove they work (and how awesome they will look in GEM)

Close-up of a damaged Valkrie, this time giving off smoke

I don't know if Caydr intended for anyone to find out, if not, sorry for the leak... :P
I don't know if there are any other units from GEM included, but maybe you guys can find out.
Have fun!

Nobody has yet found any oF the easter eggs in NTAI 0.27 0.28.10 XE 2 0.25 and 0.28b4. Should I bother with XE 4?

Do your easter eggs consist of code? who are they aimed at, and how likely is this target group to find or understand them?

Very fun to fly around in, and it has to be an easter egg. Look at the health. =)

My easter eggs arent in the source code, though if the binary for source & release match do tell me as I'm sure I've messed up somewhere copying different versions with and without easter eggs

well, the fighters certainly seem to be shiny enough, but they are so small that it is nigh impossible to even see it all.

Yes, an Easter egg is that. Generally, they are hidden around the house or park or whatever for the children to find. So, whenever there is a little treat hidden in some product (AA, WD, or NTAI in this case), it is called an Easter Egg.

Ooooh Masse... is there a wiki page for that feature?

Cause that's the kinda feature that needs to be added to:

http://taspring.clan-sy.com/wiki/Using_Spring

so if someone who knows the views can add a little bit to that page...

we're also still missing

http://taspring.clan-sy.com/wiki/Using_ ... Move_State
