Hey guys,
I was recently looking into using a spare ipad with duetdisplay to see if I could hook up a second monitor essentially using it as a map
Duet works fine for throwing videos or documents on there. But if I have Duet Display installed, springRTS wont load up.
Trying to setup balanced annihilation it maximises into a black screen. I think its loadedin the BG, sometimes here sounds, but no display if that program is installed (not running, just installed)
Has anybody found anything similar?
Cheers!

Re: DuetDisplay and springRTS
did you try https://springrts.com/wiki/Springrc#DualScreenMode and windowed mode?
I am afraid even if you figure out the iPad-specifique (?) problem then it will still not be useable.
I do not know anything about DuetDisplay/iPad but I tried to run spring with more than one screen since 2010 or so:
It never worked probally, not with 2 screens, not with 3 screens, not on Win Vista, 7 or 8, on at least three different computers and one laptop with additional monitor.. In some spring-versions it kinda worked, one screen could be functional supersized minimap and other screen the '3D game.' I once also had the 3D-game stretched over three monitors with an older spring version. But there was also problems with GUI etc that made it no fun to play with/unplayable. None of the games take more than screen into account for their GUI.
Current situation for me in spring 100:

one monitor stays blank, other is mish-mash of broken GUI on top of the minimap..
Search for "dual screen", there are some threads...imo not worth it.
