Re: BA 8.07 Released!
Thanks! can anyone recommend a good map pack download around 1-2gb please? I had to re-install everything and just can't find any good, medium-size packs!

Re: BA 8.08 Released!
I think there is only http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=26949, which is ~20Gb. If you use SpringLobby you can go to the battle list, right click on the maps you see there, and just download whatever comes up. That will give you a pretty good selection. Or you can browse http://springfiles.com/can anyone recommend a good map pack download around 1-2gb please
Re: BA 8.08 Released!
Thanks for updates and fixes!
In case anybody was wondering (as I was):
Zeus health 2975 -> 2650
And for Arm Seaplane Platform:
buildcostenergy 19426
buildcostmetal 2667
buildtime 19248
->
buildcostenergy 17221
buildcostmetal 1974
buildtime 16128
Gimp:
Damage 200 DPS 25.0
->
Damage 250 DPS 41.67
(numbers compared to V7.99; from def file, didn't check if there are post defs changing them)

Re: BA 8.08 Released!
Sorry for the stupid question... but did you add the new graphics you showcased a while ago to the new version?
Re: BA 8.08 Released!
That is indeed a stupid question but one worth explaining since info about it on BA subfoum is scarce.
New graphics you are referring to are of Balanced Annihilation: Reloaded (or Beyond All Reason if you want to call it like that). It is basically a complete remodel of all BA units in attempt to remove OTA dependancy. At that it also brings new much nicer UI! (witch is a thing I am mostly fond of when looking at BAR). And I would say it is in prerelease state as its very early build is playable on the server but the thing is it is not a finished game by any means (it is not declared as such either).
One just needs to be patient BA reboot (or instead you could... you know play BA or some other spring game like XTA).

Re: BA 8.08 Released!
The graphics are showcased as part of BAR, which is a work in progress, and you can find them inside the testing versions of BAR.new graphics you showcased a while ago to the new version?
You can find a summary of the progress with BAR on the stickied BAR thread here viewtopic.php?f=44&t=28016&start=40#p564179.
The aim of BAR is not to replace OTA content specifically but to re-make any content that is essentially outdated and would benefit from a rewrite. Broadly speaking this means models, cegs & the UI.attempt to remove....
Re: BA 8.08 Released!
Yes, yes that is what i meant.
Sorry for my bad choice of words

Re: BA 8.12 Released!
Is this the same as it is/was with shift (shift-a select select select)?Use meta (space) to queue set target commands]
Just wanted to update http://balancedannihilation.org/ , but it got suspended. I have contacted Marcelinho.

Re: BA 8.12 Released!
Yes, it should be, although BrainDamage (who is the author of the set target gadget) can give a better explanation of why meta is used insetad of shift. As I understand it there were some rare cases where the set target queuing and the "normal" queuing could interfere.
