Shadows dont work

When I start the game an error message appears in the chat window:
"You are missing an openGL extension needed to use shadowmaps (fragment program shadow)"
The shadows dont work ingame, even thought i turned them on in the settings.

I have a Geforce4Ti4200 Graphics card and have installed the normal geforce drivers.
Can anyone help me?

your graphics card is too old for fragment program... and u dont have reflections eighter ? shouldnt have

i didnt with my old GeForce4 Ti 4800

so only way now is to get new graphics card...

that sucks - how come i dont have shadows in ta-spring but i have shadows in C&C Generals and age of empires 3?

shadows in those games are not "real" theyre made in way different way their like "hacks"...

im really bad in explaining this
