I have a cunning plan

Hi everyone, im totally clueless, but i think welldeserving of your workforce.

So in the spirit of everyone can do everything without a effort, i shall propose to my proposal to the vox populi, who i m not intend to insult by implying that everyone has been lazy pre to my arrival.

So without further babel, here is the idea.

Imagine a spacehsip, but not a working one, a wrecked one. On it survivors. With very diffrent plans.
Some want to gun the wreck into a more sunny orbit and build a space colony.
Some want to freeze themselves, waiting for rescue.
Some want to get it flightworthy again and go home.
But the ressources are lacking, and every piece ripped from the ship makes it more of a death trap, who could be ripped apart by manouvering.

So in a minecraftian way, you harvest spare parts from the vessel, you concstruct stuff for your faction.
You fight small wars in the eternal dark of the outside and the inside.
You sneak in stealth missions into the enemy vesselside and steal some rare high tech.
You have social drama (to many people, not everybody helping)
You have the most precious ressource of all ticking away.
Time.
Time is oxygen.
Time is energy.
Time is food thats gone for good.

So who is with me, oh, wait i just noticed, this is a RTS - board. My bad. Sorry.

that actually sounds kinda cool. Though i would like it as a 4x game. Diffrent sectors of the ship as capturable tiles, diplomatic options, espionage and sabotage and such mechanics could work quite well in an environment, that is fragile and can lead to game over without simply getting wiped out as a faction. Something like a rouge-like 4x.

There could be random encounters where many little green alien tentacles board the ship and randomly press all the buttons in the command center. Through buttonsmash minigame you must suck them all out into the vacuum .

we could try a reverse kickstarter: we go the money, we are looking for developers... stretch-goals include coffee-breaks and pizza delivery every second day...

... and when they are finished we take the program and have to tell them that, regrettably, while there is money, it isn´t the amount as promised... but its still a huge success and by no means our fault...

.. well the actualy plan involved a whip, several old laptops, some battered "How to code C++!" books and a basement, in addition to a harpoon, some narcotic darts and a bait-thread to attract Idea guys. Continue making the sounds, this is a nice and clean water hole, no predators here. We are all happy. Lets just make the sounds, till the come around..


THIS is such a MARVELLOUS IDEA. We will realize it. With a comon effort, where even the WEAKEST TEAM MEMBERS CAN BE LEADING GAME DESIGNERS .. we can make this happen.
