I was messing around in 3ds max, and thought I would start up a simple unit. 508 poly Kbot style unit.

Care to release it under the GPL? If you do I could find it a home in Xect vs. Mynn, as a level 1 raider or maybe lvl 2 anti-air...

Very cool torso/head but the legs kinda look funny.

The legs need a sort of knee joint.

The holes on the front of the upper-body side-pods will not draw correctly, if exported to S3O. Backfacing polygons on S3Os are culled- iow, the areas where the "holes" are will show whatever's behind them, instead of the inside of the pods.

Other than that... I'm having a lot of trouble imagining this thing walking in a way that wouldn't cause it to topple over.

If you look closley, I think the holes in the pods are actually gun barrels, with insides. So they would render correctly.

If they are, I can't tell. You're probably right.
