Need help connecting to a private game.

At first, every time I tried to connect to my buddy's private game it would crash. We later found out that hole punching was the cause of this. I tried to spectate BlackHoleHost - Reborn, which was successful. Later i turned off my fire wall and tried to enter my friend's game with no luck, he would load and I would wait the full 30 seconds in the black waiting screen. He then turned off his firewall and we got the same results. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and now I just don't know what to do.

Thats because you want to play private! This is open community. Use authost (you can still lock it with password).

Something in you or your friends internet/network settings is blocking the connection. You need to find out what it is and remove it - or just use an autohost.
