information about mumble

Hi guys,

After getting some news about mumble and opus codec on my news stream I thought that it would be a low hanging fruit type project for spring. so I searched the forums and it appears that its already been done?

Anyway, I gleaned that there is an official spring mumble server that you can log into with your lobby user details, but the wiki contains nothing?

where can i get information about mumble integration in spring? server, lua scripts etc?

yeah I get it, i'm an idiot.

Considering that the top stickied thread in this subforum is about teamspeak being replaced with mumble, with server information etc.

Still, if anyone knows more about the integration that would be good, ie 3d positional audio, control from spring, etc. lobby integration ,what have you.

And considering its not in the wiki, if some enterprising individual who uses it a lot could do something about that, pretty sure it would be appreciated.

There used to be some kind of integration with the lobby, where people were put in channels for their ally teams. I dont know if this integration still works, but I think it works in springie autohosts (maybe spads as well, I dont recall though), and the autohost communicates with the mumble server. As far as I know, there is no implementation of 3d positional audio.

Integration code exists, in latest implementation it works with any lobbies as long as your mumble names matches your lobby name.

Atm its offline due to memory leaks in Ice library.

WOW! I did not know that! I would use it!
But.. integration is turned off? Any estimates when it will be fixed?
