how to configure the keyboard properly

Hi,

I have two little issues, the search function didnt show any solutions for them:

1) I could not write / draw on the ground or make signals, the circonflex (^) isnt working at all

2) when pushing cmd + tab, the windows arent switched but the maps viewing point is lifting up (so it is working correctly for itself, but ignoring the cmd button)

Do you know how to set it up the right way?

edit: osx is 10.6.8.

It is a flaw in mac that you cannot cmd-tab out of fullscreen games. I've suffered from this in other games too.
