Plz allow to transfer power from different parts of the mech to other parts.
For example Shut down all weapon capabilities and increase movement speed or shut down all movement capabilities to increase weapon damage/range etc...
If you have one mech, one unit to control the game has to be about managing it efficiently. I mean they shoot automatically at enemies so there has to be some complex mech management otherwise its gonna be boring.

when the bot is heating it should be the player that presses the button to release heat as oppose to it happening automatically if you just stop firing or moving.
Allow to fake death.
Im not sure if atm mechs get a different looking wreckage? But allowing you to sort of turn down your mech to pretend you were killed could be interesting(would probably have to remove the ability to see enemy health bars).
It could be useful in team games.
Maybe allow mechs to get into some sort of paralyzed status where they are able to fix themselves slowly.
In general, IMO, as many as possible functions of the mech should be manual.
boosting shield back up,Transferring power, cooling down.everything should be manually controlled by the player.
Can add a clutch system as well. Not sure how complicated that would be But I'd enjoy a mech that is able to get a movement speed boost if i change gears appropriately and move slower/use more power if i dont.

Upgrading to have a better weapon can also take power and take some time.so you use some of your power to upgrade versus using all your power for pure offense, short term versus long term investments...

You don't have only 1 mech. Up to 8 mechs + 8 vehicles or 4 mechs + 16 vehicles. Without even considering the units associated with 'mini bases' around capture beacons.

There is *more than enough* going on that you'll be kept busy microing your units.
