This one looks like a fun 1v1 to play if it is like 8x8 or 10x10.
Put each player in a corner and gg.
Shame nobody plays 1v1s any more, except maybe of Zero K.

Is it supposed to look like a Pelvis?

Seems like it's supposed to look like DSD at a glance while being thorougly different from it, being pelvis is just a quirk of nature.

If you help the engine devs to solve this pathing slowdown bug, it would not be needed to put here notAmap

Cheesecan, you should try to finish the first one.
Your "Cliffhanger" map has similiar style which I found interessting but never really played it because it was too big.

Protip if bored:
Go to zero-k.info/Maps and uncheck "official", select Download="not verified"
Then scroll down...many boring ones but a few cool ones.

A tunnel type of map, which stones falling when projectiles hit the ceiling.

Last touched in 2005. I never got around to texture it. Also, I would need some way to smooth the plains but not the pyramids.

For some reasons, I cannot get gl.Material to work like it used to, so I cannot make the grass roof blends like it does on that picture anymore.

How did you do those tunnels? Is the green hill a big feature?

Stop with the feature obsession. Spring can use Lua to draw anything since 2006 or so.

It's just drawn that way in carrara, with walls drawn but no need for a visible roof. The problem is just that how do you prevent aircraft from travelling over the walls? If it would be lua:d to disallow altitide > x, then probably pathfinding would fail (I mean fail even more than usual).

I have no feature obsession, having never made a feature myself or ever displayed any interest in features ... ty for info. I guess it needs a fair bit of lua to make pathing work correctly in 3d with the stuff that's drawn?

Oh, units still walk on the real 2D map. I merely hide the real map on the chasm, and draw extra polygons to make trenches look like tunnels. But units cannot walk over the tunnel roof nor under the bridge.

Other kinds of bridge use MoveCtrl to make units go under and over but that wasn't what I was trying to do there.

Is the screenshot from Carrara or Spring? Because vertical walls aren't easy to draw well in Spring.

Also, do you remember the Total Annihilation cave tileset? From the penultimate map there.

This is from carrara, you are probably right about the vertical walls.

That Fury's Den looks nice. Did it allow aircraft?
