They sync - you can use either. Iirc the only difference is that 93.2 is in some way easier to build on linux.

No the difference is that SL shows this as "incompatible" because it didnt implement eb protocol extension. (Per battle engine versioning).

Well, if you can enable both then thats great.

If not, imo don't update because most people currently have 93.1, (except for a small number of linux users who presumably needed build from source for themselves (-> 93.2) and then also worked out how to use DisableVersionCheck...) but moreover because 94.0 should go live pretty soon with all the major bugs fixed.

don't blame, as there were no docs. this feature was silently added to the server.


also, 94.0 is on the way and will hopefully set live soon. so please test NOW! before it is set live and the problems begin again...

Currently ubuntu ppa is at 94.1 while ZK is using 91.0, and i was not vigilant while running upgrade...

I have no way of going back to 91 short of compiling from source, so i definitely think upgrading the ppa:s a little late would be beneficial for all. While waiting for that, one can always download the static build for temporary use.

ZK needs to upgrade, tbh. The only reason it hasn't is licho has ATI and is running into some issues.

That said, unless I'm mistaken, those issues are not affecting ALL ATI users.

Well I think JK and licho tackled most of them (they were speccing an evo game that me and godde were playing and JK was helping Licho get sorted. You would have to ask Licho tbh.
