F*cking bombs...

Post by SpikedHelmet »

I've got a problems.

Seems that Spring hates bombers. I don't know why. My problem is, when I make a dropped=1; weapon (ie, a BOMB), and give it a reload time of, let's say, 15, the stupid fucking unit will drop two bombs, then wait 15, not drop one like it should. Why? I don't know.

I tried to experiment with making it NOT dropped=1; but rather ballistic, thinking it would be almost the same. Unfortunately now it will simply drop STRAIGHT down from the point the aircraft was over.. not follow the laws of physics and continue on in the aircraft's direction as well as drop.

That was with a speed of 1. With a speed of 100 the bomb will fling into the air over the plane before coming down. Stupid thing.

So wtf, how do I get a bomb to drop only once before reloading for however many seconds?

Oh, also, it would seem that units with dropped weapons act differently than units without... a plane with a dropped weapon turns a lot slower than a plane with a ballistic weapon. Wtf?

I've seen a lot of odd behaviour associated with weapons which have a very low reload and/or burstrate. Uh... dunno if that's applicable at all. Post your weapon.
