Reset GUI?

Under Ubuntu 12.04 I had to use the fglrx driver to work properly, but it no longer recognizes my card in 12.10. With the gallium driver, I get a bunch of GL errors, but it otherwise seems to work, at least for a while. Sooner or later though, I will do something that makes the textures all go haywire. Is there a way to reset the whole gui when this happens?

Which game/mod are you playing? Are you using AIs? On which map?

Please put a copy of your infolog.txt on pastebin or attached to a post here, or describe in more detail what errors you have.

psusi, just wait for new spring release (1-2 days I guess) It will contain lot's of fixes for OpenGL related compatibility errors.

Also, try to install fglrx driver for legacy cards. Maybe your card just marked as "legacy" recently: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/l ... linux.aspx

(they marked some 5000 cards as legacy too)
