It's actually been quite active. I'm enjoying this type of interaction much more than a stodgy forum.

Well for me it just so happens I already have a Google account. One I keep close track of, and used very very much over the years. So it is nice to have a -mostly- non-dev community in which I already have an active account for. Also, in my opinion, Google is the least likely of any of the communities to disappear.
