Looking for accounting software + database stuff

Super unclear title is super unclear. Suffice it to say that I essentially need what quickbooks can do, mashed with a database like sugarcrm or fengoffice or salesforce.

Hosted is fine, but it is imperative that accounting and billing/invoicing can be done as well as a built in (and fairly robust) database accessible from multiple users.

Please don't mention quickbooks connectors as the goal of this is to move away from quickbooks.

Does anyone know of any or happen to have any suggestions?

I would be interested in something similar. If I may ask, why are you moving away from Quickoffice?

I would be interested in a simple software that could link a companys inventory, billing and shipment flows. Yes, you can do that with access, and you can do that with even excel. But is it elegant? No.
