a few Spring 0.89 Linux bugs

Post by pawlerson »

Hi

I just updated to Spring 0.89 and I noticed ATi PointSize bug is still present. I'm using fglrx on Kubuntu 12.04. Another bug is related to zooming in and out by using a mouse wheel. It's very unresponsive and sometimes it's not working at all - I have to wait for the moment and it starts working again. I suppose it's related to "call SDL_WarpMouse only when needed" or "use a non-locking vsync mechanism & add support for nvidia's `adaptive vsync`". Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT:

I don't know why, but It's working with Open Source drivers now. However, the above bugs are still present.

I'm currently running Open Source drivers and this bug went away. I'll install blob later just to provide a screenshot.

Zooming in and out don't work as expected, because it's laggy. I have just default widgets enabled. To describe this better:

++++++++++ - normal zooming in and out
+++--+----++-- - a laggy one (minus means pauses I'm talking here about).

However, with hardware cursor enabled the problem is gone.

I had, but they have gone away after some update. I don't even need to put LoadingMT=0 anymore.
