Burn it to a cd/dvd, and boot to it. Run the scan and it will sort you out.

If you happen to have a mainboard manufactured by asus you might lucky to have some onboard flash memory, like I do, which is the ideal storage for a live cd when hell breaks lose (i.e. the partition table of the porn drive goes nuts)

I found a solution! HP has a policy to reset HDs to factory state when sending laptop in for repair. There we go.
