Botanicula

I just got this awesome new video game called "Botanicula" on Steam. This is an adventure game where you play as a band of tree creatures trying to save their home from spider-like creatures. The soundtrack for this game is done by the Czech alternative band DVA.The characters that you play included a nut, a twig, some creature carrying a feather and something fruity looking. Each of your characters has a special ability (like the little fruity looking thing glows) and you have to run around and collect various objects (keys, feathers) to unlock items that can be used to defeat the enemy. There are some beautiful, colorful, dreamy scenes, some where you are transported inside of a bee hive and others where you seem to be watching mayflies humming in the night sky in this game and it's so cute! You should check this game out if you like fun, relaxing nature games.

It's a very good game. Moments of frustration, but I definitely loved it overall. I'd say Machinarium was a tiny bit stronger though.

Machinarium looks like a fun game too. I love robots.
