can't see portions of in-game dialogs/panels

The game plays smoothly at my monitor's resolution of 2048x1536, but portions of the game's dialogs/panels, especially the build dialogs, are partially off of the screen. They're also relatively large. I don't seem to have a way to reposition these panels and think that I am missing a portion of them.

Also, some of the units look different in the build dialogs than I remember from Total Annihilation (TA). TA would remind me of the buildable units with a pop-up or mouse-over text of some sort, but I can't see that in Balanced Annhilation. Perhaps it is on the portion of the panel/dialog that is off screen?

If anyone can tell me how to adjust the size or position of the dialogs I think I will be able to play this wonderful game easily.

Any ideas?

press ctrl+f11 for "tweak mode", use mouse, press esc when done.
i think in ba you can only move but not resize stuff. (not sure)

could also be that the whole Lua UI failed and you are seeing the default spring menu. (screenshot would help, maybe also http://springrts.com/wiki/Infolog.txt)
try typing: /luaui reload

BA is based on TA but some things, including units, are slightly different.

yes, there should be a tooltip that tells you about cost, health etc
