Why doesnt the AI com build?

I like to play the AI, but on commanders the enemy commander dosent build anything. He just stands there. How do i get him to build?

i suggest you try another ai, some ai's are faced with that problem

Is there an AI designed for spring, or could i just use any?

All AIs are designed for spring.
Basically all AIs support XTA, but not all support other mods as well. For example if you want to play AA you can try AAI from submarine or NTAI (IIRC).

KAI owns btw... but it's kinda slow atm.

Ok. I tried. I cant get it to work. I need an AI that you know works, and how to make it work on Spring. I might be putting the ai's i downloaded in the wrong place or something. Any help would be appreciated.

From the AI forum, download either NTAI, AAI, possibly KAI, or OTAI. Unzip the download, if its zipped up, and place the DLL file in your TASpring/aidll/globalai/ folder. Then select the AI you just downloaded when you start a game.

You where playing on the commanders script?! That has no AI at all, hence why the commander does nothing, you need to select one fo the ones at the top fo the list (I assume you ran spring directly), and if you have no AI's then onyl JCAI and Emptyai.dll should be there.

However I reccomend you download SpringSP. AAI is arguably better than NTAI at AA because I knew little of AA and AAI learns by itself. However NTAI should win always on XTA Core, although it has been known to loose to KAI on cometcatcher remake
