Permission to use artwork [Neuralize]

Post by Snooky »

Neuralize,

Wondering if you would mind if I use your Arm/Core Face Off pic (the one with the thousands of Arm and Core units in a field of flowers) for a TA Mod Frontend screen. I love the pic and will, of course, credit it to you.

Thanks,

Yeah, I should have probably put a little disclaimer with the files saying that the images are free for all and any use, etc etc.

So, go right ahead :P

Yeah, so maybe I dumped all of your renders into my loadingscreens folder >_>

What? I know for a fact that my game improves by a factor of 10 whenever I see the "demz core be rollin on our turf" coffee cup picture <_<

Yes, you can make a lot of money, and what's is it to lose?

Except your SOUL?! :o

But maybe... what about it? Spring in retail would be awesome, packed with the best mods and other stuff. Offcourse, we would need profesional GUI and better stabilty, plus some new changes to xta... *plots*

You first need GPL content.

And then I would have to change the render on the front. :(

You know what would be sweet, is if Spring made it to stores and on the front of the box there was scene involving ALL the mods for it. This would be in the future of course, when GEM, my oh-so-mysterious other mod, SW:WiS, and so on are all done. As you look up the box more and more mods are intertwined into one gigantic battle. Kick Ass.

It's MY IDEA AND I WANT A NICKEL FOR EVERY UNIT SOLD IF YOU USE IT!!!!!!

If anyone was to sell Spring the money should be used to reimburse the supplier for their lose, and the rest to the Spring team fund :p

I think .01 of every pound or dollar for every major contributor (per project nto per team dev) would be fair should spring ever be distributed for money with mods as such. Afterrall that'd be unlikely to go past .70 overrall.

hmmm, I'm thinking something more along the lines of "Who the hell would buy the game when they can download it freely and it's only 50Mb to start with?"
People go through a lot more to download legally questionable, warez'ified and much LARGER games...
And should stuff I ever made or will make ever get put into this theoretical retail edition of Spring, I would want my contribution to it to be gratis.
