Need help with music widget and hotkeys

I too am experiencing a problem with the music widget. The problem involves the music widget continually switching to each track. As if it's continually selecting "next" track. I've tried disabling the music widget through pressing "F11" and then re-enabling it. However, the problem persists. I currently only use the "Balance Annihilation V7.12 and 7.12-sav1" mods. The music files are in .ogg format. Is it a potential factor?

I downloaded the "TAmusicwidget" from this link. All the readme file says is "TO install, put gui_music.lua in luaui/widgets and put the music folder in your spring folder. Then enable the widget in game with the f11 menu." which is exactly what I did.

My system specifications:

Intel Core 2 Duo 3.16GHz
Geil 4GB RAM DDR3
Western Digital Caviar 1TB H.D.D.
Nvidia GeForce 295 GTX
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card
Windows 7 64-bit

I've started playing again. I downloaded the TA Music Widget from here:

However, the same 'song skipping' issue still remains. Any ideas?
