Hi,
a few days ago I uploaded a map to springfiles ( http://springfiles.com/spring/spring-ma ... elongcat-1 ) which is not yet available at the Springie autohosts (zero-k). Some other maps that were released after mine are not there yet either: http://springfiles.com/latest/mods-maps
Is this a problem with the maps or with the update mechanism?
Thanks
When do new maps propagate to Springie hosts?

128 BY 2? Thats pretty insane :D
I like how it makes the pathfinder crap itself after 64 width :D
Also how it takes a commander 30 minutes to walk from one end to the other.

@burp:
the system is a bit complex :-/
files uploaded to springfiles.com gets parsed by some daemon and then, if the archive is correct, it should appear here: http://api.springfiles.com/?springname=EpicShoreLongcat (is that this file?)
plasma (which is used by springie) currently polls for new files, so it should appear after a while. i don't know how often it polls, but i think multiple times a day.

Yes, it's that. I suspect that the system has problems with it because the mapsize is 128x3, so the height texture size is not a multiple of 1024. On some pages in the wiki it says that the texture size has to be a multiple of 512, on others 1024. I guess 1024 is the correct answer. My new map "LongCat" is 128x4 and is correctly detected and available on the autohosts. I will just delete that "broken" one.abma wrote:@burp:

It is probally not the mapsize, it happens with other maps too.
It seems pretty random.

There are more "why is my map not avaiable yet"-threads like that, too lazy to find, but none had an actual answer.
Some autohosts have a limited list of playable maps (like only ffa maps etc) so on those it will never be playable there unless an ah admin adds it.
