It's very random. Same factory building same units sometimes eject them, sometimes not. That or you've got tiny units and huge yardmap holes.

And the bouncing of units walking next to structures obviously only happen in certain configuration.

Here are some bouncy units in Evo. It was not that hard to test, it just happened while I was looking at pathfinding. I even have a unit that is ejected from the factory at high speed (the 3rd Fatso).

Lol, the bouncing is kinda annoying. I had a geo built in the middle of my base (a poor choice) in a game I was playing with my brother against a bot so I could teach him the strings of BA. The bot we were playing against had a strange fetish of light hovercraft scouts, and kept sending them over in large amounts to attack my geo. One of them managed to get past my defenses mainly composed of heavy laser towers, and started attacking the geo. I had an army of AKs, so I sent a few over to remove the pest, but they kept bouncing off of the nearby solars are were flung all the way across the map (I was playing on Tropical) into the middle of the bot's base.

Bouncing is not a bug it is a feature, you can launch units directly in the other side of the map :wink:
