Im not that far on the bioSide... sorry.. wait a second, that flower was for that trap that would (indirectly) degrade the enemys unitlimit. And that trap was replaced by the tentacles, therefore the flower was free, thats why i ripped it off and moved it into the fireflowers (the one that burns)... sorrry wombat.. i just didnt think. Just found it without use, and moved it to the nearest location were it could find use.

Will remove it there instantly.. :(

Well, this is the comEnder. Its upgradeable, from a very weak unit, to something that closely resembles a winZiped Army. And you can do it wrong. Just buy weapons and your comEnder will end up a pinball of forces everytime he fires. Just buy armour, and you will have a snail everyone gets a shot from the distance.
Invest into speed only and you get a nice scout, and a very fast game over game.

Specials: StealthGenerator, ReIncarnation Device, JumpJetEngines, NanoWireUnitFactory...

Weapons (SoFar- Serious Suggestions Very Weclom): Flamethrower, SubMG, GuidedRockets, UnguidedRockets, ShrapnellGun (similar to a Shotgun Charging up Ammo, when the Unit is fired upon), Infectious Stickybomb, RailGun. You name it, i add it, as long as there are pipes left that are without purpose. The more interesting the weapon idea, the greater its chances.

I don't think those flat coloured shapes work, it clutters up the unit too much and makes it difficult to discern its shape/form

You mean the blue hexagon-shield upgrades, AF?
Those will be invisible while not attacked.. and well, i think i can texture it good enough, so that you wont realize something is amiss.

Somehow I think if that thing came at me with those hexagon shields I'd just aim to the bits not covered by hexagons

I'm sure it'd be far better to use one of the shader widgets to shade the unit in when the upgrade is applied instead.

I think it better this way. More work, but this way you can definatly show better how far the upgrades went. Has he lvl4 shields, and amor or is it still lvl 2? Please wait a second, i need to analyse the shaders colour in photoshoop.

Does anybody have good sounds for the beherith?

Im searching for something that is a blend between warning siren and roar. Dinolike, elephantlike, basically .. one huge information, that were this air comes from, there is enough left to smash you too pieces twice.

I need tree of them: One is going from amphib to landwalking

One is the attackversion.. that has to be short.

One is the rampage version... that is the really mean one. After this the Beherith speeds up considerably, everything that is in his path gets 2dimensional and instantdead, if he stompedes it. After that it dies. (sadface)

well, i have a problem.. i want little people on the rooftop of my buildings.. but i dont have room for them on my texture.. nor do i have the time to spare and the ressources to waste to modell some generic everday guys .. so..

i was thinking about abstracts..

What is an abstract? Basically.. its a humanshaped, black shape.. with one distinctive thing picked out..

I know that this would break the holy realism.. but on the other hand.. im sick of seeing other people doing commit after comit, getting somewhere, while i have to wrestle three days, just to get the detail i want in..

Well, i put that question out in the open.

Basically i wanted to export for once with smoth groups intatct. So i dlded the lightwave obj exporter for max.. and got this..

Its one object (no subobjects) and the texture is completely messed up.
so what to do?

Back to 3ds?
