if it crashes, a message box from spring should pop up, and infolog.txt should contain a stacktrace. jk found something, that could be the cause, why no stacktrace was made.

i found some documentation, that the cause of the non-working crashhandler could be a gcc bug. i had to change some compiler flags, this is why the filesize of the executable is increased... see the bugreport for details: http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=2931

(and yes, its bad to not develop on the same platform...)
