Disconnected from server

Hi

I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 64bit; and installed from the software center versions .82ish , then uninstalled because I needed a later version of spring
At least thats what the message says I now have spring lobby .140 installed

I recall manually installing on 10.10 Ubuntu with no problems.

Anyhow, ppa:spring/ppa added to software source and installed the .85 latest version and .140 lobby

But no matter what version I install I always get the message at the bottom of the spring lobby window (disconnected from server)
Created new registered users to try again, and again all the same (disconnected from server)


I'm not really sure where to go from here, and not sure I should post this in Linux section until I can confirm that it's linux related install or something else. ?

It's a bug... if you see people in the chat channels and people typing into the chat, you aren't very disconnected are you?

I can't update SpringLobby and Spring Engine.

Tried to update, got that message:

Requires installation of untrusted packages
The action would require the installation of packages from not authenticated sources.

It's a bug... if you see people in the chat channels and people typing into the chat, you aren't very disconnected are you?

Thats the thing there is no tabs or chats, no one it typing it's just blank page window

I can click channel list and see a list but it doesn't join any channels or chats, no text chats or even a chat windows to chat with.

Did you add software sources by adding the line ppa:spring/ppa

For 11.10 i could not figure out how to reload the software packages so I installed synaptic then clicked reload

Once you add the source and reload then you should be able to install it from the Ubuntu software center

I added ppa:spring/ppa and reload things
Updates Manager suggested me to update Spring to 85.0 and Lobby to 0.140. I hit update button. And got that previous message
