multiplayer with cheats?

When playing over relayhosts, players are not allowed to use the /cheat command. Is there some other way to play MP and use /cheat?

tried on an empty DSD Terra host:
<[RoX]knorke> !cheat
[TERA]DSDHost1 * [RoX]knorke, you are not allowed to call command "cheat" in current context.
(guess i dont have rights)

the relayhosts do not react to any !commands at all.

excact message ingame with relayhost is:
[f=0000187] /cheat
[f=0000193] Player 0 is not allowed to execute command cheat

Spring.SendCommands ("cheat") in gadget is blocked too.

!cheat has to be typed into chat while the game is running.
i thought its like !addbox etc
