Its more of a philosophical statement, not a another essayist vs the surveilance_state. She argues that personalized search algorithms and human habits enforce each other, encaging the most of us for a life long to the same sites, same people, preventing those random bumps into completely diffrent wordview that made life uncomfortable and intersting in the old days, before google and amazon knew you.
