2 Continents?

Post by Myg »

Is anyone going to remake this map for spring? It is sorely missed.

I didn't realize the map had suddenly grown a couple extra continents... and it was too big to be any fun anyway...

Hmm...

For starters, anyone interested would need a link to the original map. Second some motivation would help... maybe start a poll asking if anyone even knows this map exists (I didn't, apparently Gnome didn't, and therefore it's probably not very well known) and would like to see it remade. Right now there's only a small number of people who have the right combination of skills, hardware, and software necessary to do such an undertaking... generally they just stick to ones that are extremely well known and popular.

The only picture I could find, but it looks edited from the original. The right side was all one piece and not split in half like it is now, and from my memory it didnt stretch all the way up to the top right, nor was it as large. The right continent formed a natural harbour at its bottom section. These are all based off memory though, and not 100% reliable.

Anyone care to remake this for spring?
That picture is hacked. It looks an awful lot like the map Two Continents though.

That was my all time favourite TA map!
I'll see if I can find a decent minimap...

Seems like the map we had in mind is actually called Two Continents, minimap below. I had alot of fun playing 2v2 with my friends on this map. I remember naval domination being quite important, as well as domination the metal-rich center.

Told you you had grown two extra continents :P You didn't need to look further than your OTA install to find 2C!

Still a boring map, too damn big. Personally I wouldn't even bother with the middle, it'd be just as easy to go tidal farming since there's so much space...

I agree with Gnome, yeah it is spacious, but it doesn't have much else going for it.
