Titan Quest lovers will like this.. I really hope Crate doesn't run out of money.
This article also nicely lays out how PC games have evolved over the years, like how every recent title is dumbed down for the "casual player".

Re: Grim Dawn
I feel I agree a lot with what this guy has to say. Things like unknowns and exploration are really disappearing trends in games.
Also, as a fan of TQ and someone who for about a month began work on a mod for the game, I'm excited to see the embers are still smoldering.

Re: Grim Dawn
Yup games are just not fun anymore... like hey after beating a game you could re-play the game again with a completly different guy that is actually just a skinjob, eventually plays the very same and is not fun at all. Another thing I cannot grasp is how people could go on with your run off the mill game just to unlock two billions of pointless asschievements.
Anyway I really like the ideals Arthur Bruno has in general and for Grim Dawn. TQ with it's addon is a pretty good and addictive game and the plans for Grim Dawn are to fix what went wrong with TQ, like the first impression as a selling point etc. I like the idea of improving on what you have, which is what the existing community around TQ prolly wants the most, rather than reinventing the wheel completely and piss the fanbase off that a couple of companies did or will do to certain franchises and genres.
