Wut? Server with very fast connection and no limits AND slow disk is suited for buildbot?

I dont think so.

Experience shows its only overloaded during buildbotting or backuping.

How about a dedicated HDD for buildbot to mess with? Assuming that IO is the bottleneck ofc.

moving the apache/php-processes into a vm or onto a dedicated host would be perfect!

i also did some tweaks to springfiles, which hopefully helps a bit to reduce load: springfiles.com itself isn't listed as download-source, when >2 mirrors are avaiable.

with this and the dedicaded buildhosts i hope most problems with high load should be gone...

I removed massive bloated backups which clocked tens of gb every day.
We will see.
