played against AD TF last night, saw his starting stats and was like "oho christmas is early"

i was all like "RAAAAGH MALZBEAMS" and he died over and over again. once he typed "gay" as he died. it was satisfying.

IMO, AD is only going to work with a squishy caster as a chase or harass sort of build, otherwise, you'll run right at a full hp AP caster and get bursted hard, disabled, and violated in every hole.

Tried LoL. Feels like nearly everybody at the higher levels have bought new champions, runes and shit using riot points. Is that how it is? Must be hard to be competitive if you don't want to pay.

It just takes a bit longer. When I first discovered LoL I was playing it a bit too much, so it took me about 1.5 months to get to lvl 30 on the US server. When I switched to EU I wasn't playing that much so it took a bit longer. But why should you care what higher level people have or don't have? If you're level 5 you will be playing with level 5 people.

Btw, you can't buy runes using Riot Points. What you can do is buy IP-Boosts with Riot Points so each win gives you double the amount of IP you would usually get. I think you can also buy a XP-Boost to level faster? But I don't see the point in that if you've just started playing and you're learning the game. Use the time pre lvl 30 to learn the basics and stuff, the amount of people who have over 500wins and have no idea how the game should be played is shocking.

You can't play competetive if you have no champions and no runes. That much is definately true. ( inb4 Otherside jumps on that point to bash LoL some more )

As a general tip to everyone, if you're fighting veigar build a banshees and if youre fighting malz build a QSS, ideally both in each situation.

Both the banshees and QSS are pretty OP atm and im surprised at how few people actually build them.

Yes but I dont think more than 1 is necessary when its got such a short CD.. I guess if you're fighting malz, ww and veigar building 2-3 QSS's would be pretty funny :D

#1 Veigar is a crappy char(IMO one of the weakest out of all the roster),just get a tenacity item if your that scared of him, and it will help you not just against his stun.
#2 everyone makes BV, its the most used defensive item.
I think anyone who builds his carry to only have damage item is doing it wrong anyway.

QSS is IMO inferior to BV in almost all cases.
BV builds of catalyst, a very good item.
BV is an excellent item to have in your final build for most characters as oppose to QSS which does not give anything else but MR.
To make full use of QSS in say a game versus mal you have to be targeted by him...
If your mal and you bother to check what your opponents are building, like any good player should, you will try to not target the player with the QSS in his inventory....

heh....So you had a good game with veigar cause our team played like noobs and you think Veigar is OP?
You can have great scores with any character once in a while and especially in normal.
I dont know how you got fed early on but we had some feeders on our team(2-10 ashe for example), our tank(as much as morde can be a tank which is not much) was doing jack shit, and not even trying to get to the squishies, and our team focused Alistar in all team fights...


with every character i ever played solo lanning against veigar i had an easy time...
He has abysmal early game and any good team can easily deal with him in mid and late game.

The 3 veigar games i had previous to that one I went 21/2/9, 6/5/5(not a good score but the team surrendered early and veigar is VERY much a lategame character), and 20/1/9.

I think once you get the hang of him, as long as youre farming well early he is incredibly strong, at least around my elo level.. I guess it could be different at 2000+ elo, as a BV and mercury's treads counter him very hard.

I thing kog is harder and kog's suicide is over fear for what it is. Velgar is solid but bland IMO
