hey this was an old feature, that somehow got messed around in the f11 widgets menu and then altogether removed.
Looking for a way to select a group of units composing of lets say t1 veh and kbot cons, combined with 2 t2 kbot cons, issue them all a single order, and then they assist each other until that queue is done
This used to work, now only the t2 builders out of your selection get to work and the t1 assistants sit idle. It would be convenient to have a redundant and automatically applied guard feature.
Please and thanks :)
(this is an old post I made in the BA thread. Seems to be a lua issue though, so I am reposting here, thanks.)

Re: BA script request
The idea sounds simple enough but the implementation of particular parts of it is tricky:
- T1 assisting T2 + T2 assisting T1 -> Messy
- Issues with multiple buildings up at the same time
- Issues with queue order if both T1+T2 in queue
- Maintaining con 'groups' that assist within the group
All those issues to deal with/solve for imo little benefit, selecting the T1 cons in the group and giving 1 single guard command on the T2 is all that's needed to do it manually in most scenarios, and scenarios any more complex than that are going to be far too difficult to handle nicely and predictably with a widget.

used to be an automatic feature, and is handy if you don't have time to nitpick your builders and a few of them are capable of being ''leaders'' (have the build capability) and some of them end up dying, its redundant.
