[edit]NM, they have portal. Still HL and TF2 deserve to be on there I feel.

Most of the list was a joke.

Apart from a few obvious choices and no brainers (zelda/mario etc) alot of games that should be on there.

and wtf are these categories it seems to exclude entire genres and games that were very important to gaming as we know it.

No Street Fighter O_o

And if your trying to show progression, as awesome as minecraft is, it still looks like a game from the 90's and wtf its not a combat game.

Museumdirector asking his nephew - what games are the most popular today? We need to advertise- and if people would debate over our list, we could call that sucess...

Nephew (who is twelfe years old) gives gamelist..

Postal 2 is amiss.
Conkers Bad Furry day is not on it.

Imagine a troll would have had access to that list, the pubelick outrage would have been tremendous.

Really, lets make it short, what is popular, and what is art- has no real conection, and never had. If you are a good artist, but a bad salesman, you will vannish without ever beeing heard from the world.

Planescape Tourment on that list? SystemShock2? List goes on.

I really really try not to avoid the Nostalagmite, but why are all good games so old? And everytime i try to play something on the X-Plox, or another console, its could even be a cheap 3dmovie, that has been quicktimed.

If I took a hamstercage, putt the controllerbuttons at random places, set in there 4 hamesters on speed, and would give them food everytime they kill in autoaimed cod by smashing the buttons - would you be able to win against team hamster? Rantparents should sound that way, why cant the world just make good games...

invisible war was fucking terrible

incidently to all Deus Ex players here, you HAVE played it through with the latest version of shifter mod right? it improves the AI & difficulty sufficently (assuming you play it AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE and play on Realistic) to warrant another play through

The problem of the game industry is that it is squeezed by two great groups- the one beeing teenagers, in need for puperty software, lacking skillz, the other one, are pensioneers, in the form of shareholders of pension funds, who cant stand the "Rated R for Risk" sign.

Yeah, gamers are too busy gaming to run software companies...
