Doesn't it look like Argh?
dont you mean AF? or whoever had half his head as avatar.
If you're wanting to know how to animate, you steal someone's animation script (like one of CT's!) and then you open notepad and play with values
no offense, but CT's unit script are quite messy for how simple they are. But usually it works like sanada said.

Basically walk scripts are either the simple
Turn (knee, this way)
Turn (knee, that way)
stuff which mostly looks stiff or so complex that they can not easily be adapated. At least thats what i think why not every unit is crawling around like in zwszg's gifs.
Has somebody posted the sandworm gif yet? Or the spiderfactory?

Also good walksscripts are basically mathcurves, sinewaves.. smothed out to fit to sudden stops or changes of direction..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sine_wave

Just tellin, not yellin, its not like somebody in here, doesent knowabout the invisible elephant, that is the lack of good Animationsoftware for spring.

The Springlers II

(actually I would quite like to make a Settlers-esque game but I can't think of anyway for combat to really work given my desired theme)

[16:46:23] <[Evo]Forboding_Angel> wow
[16:46:50] <[Evo]Forboding_Angel> you would have to be some cold hearted sons of bitches to do nothing at all while billions of your own people die.
[17:30:09] <pantaloons> sorry; was off in dreamland/modelling land
[17:30:31] <pantaloons> idk, i dont object to the story in any way... its just wierd having such small snippets of it
[17:30:43] <pantaloons> could we at least concentrate it a bit more and put 2x on per screen or something?
[17:30:53] <pantaloons> and yes, you'd have to be quite bastardly indeed
Shall I add nipples to the planets?

Countles Terrabytes. I'd say something a lot more than Tera, our own civilization already has Petabytes worth of data flying around at any moment.
