Instead of listing the games i just linked to the wiki page. Btw the wiki page is missing a few things like the single unit mods. One was a flight sim one was 4 mechs u pick one and try to kill opponent and then there was the mod with 50 or so coms where the main way to win was to blast your opponent comm off the map. and where is nanoblobs? and EE. and Pure?

If you want to advertise spring/a spring game to a larger audience: YES, absolutely.

But the ads only purpose is to get the user to play one round. Does it all matter if its slightly incorrect?

Very indicative of actual gameplay are floris's videos. Esp. the commentary.
do a CA and with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5je8TKD ... re=related pls

So um... sort of a related note, but not really... I've been scouring the internet and my hard drives for the second version of my AA trailer. The first one just showed an Agamemnon walking around in FPS mode and wasn't really a trailer actually... Anyway, the second one had the TA theme music playing and tanks rolling around and shit like that. I only ever made two.

Does anyone know where I might find a copy? Original filename might've been something like AATrailerv2.zip or AATrailer_v2.zip. Unzipped format probably WMV.

Just sort of a piece of my history, I'd really like to have a copy. And depending on your criteria, it might fit as a Spring ad video of sorts, even though it was so old it was pretty cool looking.

yeah, they improved it in a way that it finds very fast stuff... but they removed all the options (well, you can type something like DATE: 23-35 to 53-53, or something gibberish like that which is trying to be smart feature that it "understands" what you write and "knows" what you want to search without you need to click any menus and type numbers... but the problem is theres nowhere any info about those commands, neither do i want to learn to use such a crappy system), and i generally hate the new CTRL+F feature (doesnt even pop up a window anymore >_>) its really confusing, at first time i thought they removed it completely because i didnt notice theres small box at top right corner of window, just like in FireFox when you type CTRL+F it makes small box there... its really pathetic.

also the results window is even crappier. fuck i hate win7. so much.

The best thing about the video is the fact, that it contains music from UMG which makes it unviewable for most of Europe and then some due to nazi politics.

Some games "died" due to their creators leaving or just did not stay "in the spotlight" for some reason.
One was a flight sim
Air Raid -> http://springrts.com/wiki/Air_Raid
one was 4 mechs u pick one and try to kill opponent
engines of war? -> http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=66
or other, older "deathmatch games" -> com shooter and http://springrts.com/wiki/War_Evolution
and then there was the mod with 50 or so coms where the main way to win was to blast your opponent comm off the map.
no idea, sounds funny
and where is nanoblobs?
http://springrts.com/wiki/Nanoblobs
and EE.
http://springrts.com/wiki/Expand
and Pure?
->http://www.wolfegames.com/

Those are not nearly all games that ever existed btw ;)

Yes it matters because if the player only plays one round you want to make that one round as enjoyable as possible. With a game that works on a nice map with an AI that does something. I think that is just fair towards the game/map makers.
