BTW the above map was using my custom climate that I made for l3dt.

As soon as I am happy with it, I will release it for public consumption.

Could you extent the terrain off into the distance using a sklybox? This is gonna be one of those maps that looks pretty till you see the edge... That and the default sky is rather ugly for a map like that. Otherwise it's looking nice ^_^

I still think the best way to avoid the map edge ugliness effect is to surround the map with a small moutain range. Like that:

it's a .zip and it should be a .sdz

All metal spots give the same ammount of metal.

Besides those things nice map.. looking forward to version 2

get with the program and start using firefox :D


actually btw, a file with the extention of sdz is a zip file

sd7 = 7zip file

yes the spots give equal metal. I see nothing wrtong with that personally.

the map looks good, sort of metal heck bc of the hills every now and then, blocking direct fire from pc or long range lasers.

the only issue, that would make this map thousand times better, is the ammount of metal.

half the metal it haves now will give us another good map to play on :)

e: eeck! confused this map with eurogreen!!

this one is fine, good job on the metalmap too! looking forward to play it.
