BA 7.30 & 7.31 Starting resources problem. (Is OK in 7.20)

When I set starting metal and starting energy to be anything but 1000, they always revert to 1000 in the game. This is only a problem in 7.30 and 7.31. BA 7.20 works fine. I know of four others having this same problem. Problem happens in both single and multiplayer games. Any ideas?

The resources are given. The problem is that the storage is not changed accordingly to the start resources. Everything above 1000 will be lost.

I don't know what that means. Is that a deeper explanation of the problem, or an excuse, or what?
I.e. Are you saying this is a known issue and that it's intentional, and won't be fixed? Or are you saying that it's a known issue that somebody might work on some day? Or are you saying you're having the problem too?

in BA, a player can only store 1000 metal and 1000 energy. Unless you build storages of course.
So when the engine gives you 5000 metal, 4000 metal are lost. (like if you shared metal to a teammate who already has full storage)
I didnt look at BA but the problem is probally that storage is not set accordingly in init_game_spawn.lua blabla best make a thread in BA forum http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=44
