Outrage about $300 million to pay for women's healthcare...but republicans have no problem adding $2 BILLION to the already over-proportioned defense budget.

I'm interested to see what happens during a shutdown. I'm too young to remember what it was like in '95.

Our federal government is shutting down because Congress can't agree on how to spend the next 5 months' money.

It's just a tiny bit ridiculous.

I also kind of feel that the republicans picked the wrong things to stand hard about cutting (government regulation over coal pollution and planned parenting money). Those things are important!

In Canada the government shut down because the prime-minister decided he would rather watch the Olympics...
