Unlike you, who get nothing done, i decided to do something.

I wrote this open source GPL licensed program for everyone who wants to make something done:

Code: Select all

1) (important) Close the TV(s) (and radio(s) if you have any).
2) (important) Close the Internet connection(s) from your device(s).
3) (optional) Delete every possible game on your device(s).
4) Dont tell anyone what youre doing, until you have finished.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you use this program (or its modifications) while creating something, you must include this original program in every work where you used it (with your modifications), also everything you do with this program (or its modifications) must be GPL compatible.

EDIT: updated license to be less prone to possible lawsuits.

Well, dunno about you, but Radio dumbs me down. Also, it mostly has 20% adverts 30% talking and 50% music.

Wrong station bro.

Edit: http://slayradio.com/home.php

Boz's weekly live show starts right now. It's the most popular C64 Radio station. They play SIDs, remixes, WIPs and half the people in the IRC are the original composers of the classic SIDs. I'm sure you'd enjoy ^^

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio
Radio is the transmission of signals by modulation of electromagnetic waves with frequencies below those of visible light.[1] Electromagnetic radiation travels by means of oscillating electromagnetic fields that pass through the air and the vacuum of space. Information is carried by systematically changing (modulating) some property of the radiated waves, such as amplitude, frequency, phase, or pulse width. When radio waves pass an electrical conductor, the oscillating fields induce an alternating current in the conductor. This can be detected and transformed into sound or other signals that carry information

Sorry, I should have made note that the Edit I made wasn't related to an actual radio.

I wasted probably an hour reading through onion, Such a great site. Anyway don't feel too bad about projects that did not take off quite right. I can think of quite a few projects that never panned out for me.

Paintball "Robot"

"Project Puma"

My band

My SVN "band"
http://code.google.com/p/oksnoop2projects/

The list is really endless. But you just have to pick yourself up and try again.

Project Puma's goal was to build a wet diving bell like suit. The main body was a trash can.
Image
With an air tube leading to a surface pump and holes for gloved arms the plan was to be able to manipulate things on the bottom in 15 or so feet of water. It was planed to have a telephone communication, which we did get working (sadly it was one of the few things).

The whole thing was abandoned after running out of money, and the constant leaking and bowing of the stupid trash can. Also having no good grasp of pressure I had a fear that my lungs might explode if all the other problems were solved.

Sinbad. Find something you really want to do or make, and get started. You aren't allowed to give up for 3 months.
You can give us progress updates, but no more silly threads.

Go forth and make! :-)
