And this is why I love acoustic. Whilst the singing is the main focus of the song, the acoustic provides the sweet chords and backing to give songs an amazing sense of feeling and emotion without being intrusive or taking over what the song's really about. Acoustic covers just tend to have more soul to them if you know what I mean.
I've never really had any particular preference for acoustic covers, but this one sounded lovely. I think that Ville just has a great singing voice. It cool that you like acoustic, though. I don't think that I know too many people who do.

I don't mind not understanding the lyrics to that song even though I think I should look them up. Different languages can sound musical too depending on how words are pronounced. I've sung songs in other languages, pronounced the words correctly, and the language sounded great. It really helps when singing and listening to have some background information about songs.

There is an interesting story behind this song.
Apparently a new movie used it as its theme song and it got some attention but the thing is that nobody knows who wrote the song or who performed it.

:-) I haven't seen the movie that it's associated with, Blue Valentine, but it looks like a good drama:

I love this beautiful, relaxing piano music by Giorgio Constantini.

Piano music is great to sing to and I've always liked listening to it. It's easy to read piano sheet music too!

My music preferences encompass classical, rap, some electronic, some chiptune-y stuff, a little metal, and anything weird/funny/catchy enough to attract my attention.

I'm currently hovering over demoscene music. the soundtrack from this won't get out of my head. :(

Neat video, but the song, thankfully, is not stuck in my head. I don't often have that happen, but it can be annoying if the song is especially whiny or irritating.

started with metal when i was a kid; got introduced to 2nd wave punk and D&B/breaks from my friends when i was a teenager and skateboarding a lot; enjoyed hardcore/techno/trance from the rave scene but hated the scene itself;

these days its a big mix of rap/electronic/metal

most of what i listen to could be considered upbeat; as most of my music listening goes on at work, and it's easier to work hard and be efficient if you're listening to something melancholy.

and to be clear; 99% of my stuff is -old-. its much easier to find a good old album you haven't heard of than to try and find something new and good. all of "rap/electronic/metal" is pre 2k, so you're looking at a playlist like wu tang / brooklyn bounce / black sabbath rather than any of this newfangled rebecca black music you kids listen to these days
