Hello.....
Hi, i have barely started to get active about 2 minutes ago due to a youtube video i saw on spring gameplay.
I must say, although i love ota a lot, that i am indeed impressed, and i like to see this stuff.
I do not have time to look around as i am running on a stuffed schedule right now but are there any tools/tutorials/downloads/changelogs i can view?
Also where do i download this?
Thanks, flashbang232
PS i can get a look around in about a day or so, but this seems a bit more of *easy access* considering its going into my bookmarks page

Re: Hello.....
Just to clarify some stuff:
Spring is an engine! There are many different games that use this engine.
Most are lots of fun!
The most popular one of these games is called Balanced Annihilation. It has received a lot of complaints, though, mainly because it has not been updated very extensively since around 2007.
There are also a bunch of newer, more active game projects being worked on. These are updated more regularly, and lots of fun, but they don't have as many players.
Go ahead, download the engine and try a bunch of games. Tell us what you think!

Re: Hello.....
Yes, Spring is a mecha, you can order it by sending over 9000$ to my paypal account. It still has powersource and movement errors, so all you can do, while sitting in cockpit, is play some vidyagames, one of them beeing zero kelvin.

I have not seen any very radical changes in BA in the last 2-3 years.
Re: Hello.....
The only complaints it's received are complaints from players of others games complaining it's is taking all the players...
But I do agree with the "Please don't play BA" stance, I just think urdoinitrong.

Re: Hello.....
hola.. are you the same flashbang guy that got banned on the tau forums?
Re: Hello.....
Ah. That's because I'm not really taking that stance. I don't have any issue with BA-playing, I just wanted to let him know that it's old.Jazcash wrote:But I do agree with the "Please don't play BA" stance, I just think urdoinitrong.

I've gotten complaints that "Spring graphics look like poo poo from 1997," to which the response is, invariably, "No, that's just BA."The only complaints it's received are complaints from players of others games complaining it's is taking all the players...
I actually think that BA's graphics look like poo poo from 2003. :O

Who told you it needs any radical changes...?MidKnight wrote:Elaborate.TradeMark wrote:misinformationMidKnight wrote:The most popular one of these games is called Balanced Annihilation. lolz. It's like you're concluding BA is shit and not being updated because the graphics arent being updated.
Please dont try to fill every newb head with your fail ideology.

Hi flashbang, ignore the posters above me, you should be able to get started if you click on the download tab on the top right. The wiki has some help on development (it may be dated tho).
